can u convert afm to map with this. ive seen some pictures of setups with power fc's and they didn't have the afm. also are there any con's (& pro's) that power fc owners experienced. im looking on getting one and have cash on hand but i figured id ask everyone before i took that step.

also, do they make a power fc w/commander for a s4?

Yes, the power FC only uses a Map, so there is no need for a MAF.

Banzai Rotary sells the conversion kit for the FC.

 

We have the adapters and sensors required, you just need to buy the 93-95 FD Apexi Power FC and modify your trailing coil.

thanks alot. what are the benefits of going with the GM 3 bar or the FD/APEX map? would it matter for my setup?

 

If you buy kit #2 it only comes with the GM, if you buy Kit #1 you supply you own sensors, so you can choose the FD/Apexi map sensor harness adapter if that is the sensor you plan to source.

I have the Banzai kit and my car started up right up with it. I have a couple other unrelated problems causing an overly rich condition (did a ton of fuel upgrades) but it always starts right up and hasn't even flooded or anything, which is more than I can say for the stock ECU.
