Keeping electronics secure

I am finally ready to start getting my components installed in my S4 T2 (engine, electronics, etc). I removed the stock ecu today and noticed that the power fc does not have holes in it to utilize the stock brackets.

I have a power fc with the banzai s4 install kit, datalogit, hks evc-s boost controller, and a plx dm-6 wide band O2 module. I would like to have all units secured where the stock ecu goes.

Here is an install picture from banzai.

Notice they just installed the bottom bracket and let the ecu sit there. When the kickplate is installed, it might be secure.? I also have other devices as previously mentioned. Possibly take a flat piece of sheet metal, drill holes to mount it, and 3m foam tape everything to it?

How are you guys keeping your electronics secure?

The PFC comes with Velcro strips from Apexi.

I just made a plate from lexan, mounted the datalogit(velcro) and pfc(aluminium tie down) on. just drilled holes for the bolts on the floor ( the ones the original frame was attached to), and spaced out the stock kick panel enough so it didn't put any pressure on the ecu and banzai harness.

Great advice. Thank you.

I'm almost done making the plate. Material from the left needs to be trimmed so it doesn't hit the transmission tunnel. I'm also going to trim the ecu brackets. I figured that using them to help keep the powerfc from wanting to slide wouldn't hurt. Then its velcro time!
