injector questions

I have an S4 rx7 and I am running the Banzai racing adapter harness for the power FC. The base map I received from Banzai had great for the street easy to cruise with and had no bucking or hesitation, so I took it to a shop to tune for power and the easy street driving went downhill, So now i have been reading and studying and doing the tuning myself for the street. Car drives great now easy to drive around town. Now my problem is still get some stumbles and bucking in the higher rpms or during some crusie when i go to press on the throttle, I have read Arghx tip-in procedures and they have helped a lot with the issues, now I am looking at the differences in the setting 5 section between banzai and the tuners and I see some major differences with transition and injector settings.

my setup is 890cc primary and 1000cc secondary
just curious if i should change it back to the banzai transition

Sounds like whoever tuned your car didn't know what they were doing. Should have just adjusted the fuel correction in the supplied base map (if it even needed it) and left all of our transition settings alone. They even screwed up the injector lags. We have spent many hours on the dyno and street setting up these base maps.

You might want to consider scheduling the car in for tuning at our shop.

alright, well I will go back in and change the staging and transitions back to the settings you gave me first. then i will probably have to re-do my fuel maps but hopefully I won't have the Stumbles anymore

Change Pri/Sec Transistion (%) to 30.0 because logging show that 40 really logs at about 47%. Helps bring on the secondaries at a logged 37%.

Change the Secondary Transistion MS to .100 for the best injector switch over. The stock setup and what most others use has been shown by logging to be terrible.

My above setup has been proven by logging and driving to be the best and alleviates the need to change the Injector Overlap to larger values.

you guys are awesome, totally cleaned up everything, even leaned out my idle so no the neighborhood doesn't smell unburnt fuel anymore when its outside idling. cruise is great and transitions are nice and smooth, now I just have to finish tuning the upper end for power, looks like anything past about 6psi goes to about 10.9 - 10.3. So its a little rich right now =)
