Injector percentages and lag numbers..

Yes, im going to already state it, im a newbie to the pfc. My question is when you set the primary injectors to 850 you enter 67 % and .05 lag does that automatically adjust the settings? I am kinda confused because i don't know if i have to have the car re-tuned or if i just change these two perameters that it will work right.

I think im just gonna read my pfc manual 1,000 more times... I STILL DON"T KNOW HOW TO TUNE, but i guess i would need to get the DATA LOGIT and a wideband first :/

There was a very recent thread on this. Don't have the time to do the search for you, but poke around and you'll see it. Try "850 primaries".

But the short answer is that if you only make the changes you mention, you're gonna have a car that ran worse than before you put the injectors in. The PFC tries to adjust things, but the result isn't good enough. You'll need to go back in and change sections of the fuel map and probably acceleration injection, and a wideband is going to be an absolute necessity to make the necessary changes. And I personally wouldn't want to try to make the required changes to the fuel map without the datalogit...
