Inj Transition and Overlap

I'm using normal primaries and 1300 secs. My lag time I am using is 0.04.

I have read that the primary/secondary transition on the Datalogit should be changed to .98 from 1.5 Can anyone elaborate on this?

Also, it was stated somewhere that a street port may require changing injector overlap. Has anyone played with this on the Datalogit?

Well, the number comes from 1.5 * (850/1300). I've forgotten the details, it's posted on the datalogit board a long time ago.

David,

For the 1300s you should be using 0.20. The 0.04 is what I use for the 850s that I stuck in the primary spots.

I'll try testing the secondary transition to .98 from 1.5 and let you know if that changes anything for me.

Since I still have a stock port, I don't know about INJ Overlap. I'll check some of the cars around here, though. Quite a few are ported and started with "mail-order tuned" maps sometime ago.
