Power FC How to change boost setting? Sorry novice question.
How to change boost setting? Sorry novice question.
I know this is a novice question but I think that I have mine set on the second one but I am only recieveing about .80 on the boost monitor screen. I am wondering if I have that bad of a boost leak or vaccum problem or if I haven't changed it from one to the other. I have setting 2 highlighted in the Settings menu. Is this all there is to it? Thanks for your patience and wizdom.
I definately do not claim to be an expert at the PFC but I called my tuner yesterday with a similar question and he told me that whatever setting you have highlighted (eg 80) is the one you are using.
The stock secondary boost setting on the #2 setting is .80. Be careful when changing the boost. I changed mine to .90 and 76% base duty and hit 1.1
Thank god I did not blow the engine.
I then changed back to the stock setting.
If anybody knows what I did wrong, please tell me.

My PFC came with the following two settings:
1. Pr 0.80 kg/cm^2 56%
Sc 0.70 kg/cm^2 64%
2. Pr 0.90 kg/cm^2 62%
Sc 0.80 kg/cm^2 70%
Currently I have it on setting 1 and the primary peaks at almost exactly 0.80 kg/cm^2. I think I would like both the primary and secondary turbo to be set at 0.80 kg/cm^2. Will the following setting be the way to do that?
Pr 0.80 kg/cm^2 56%
Sc 0.80 kg/cm^2 70%
Also, how well does the PFC account for the extra boost when regulating the fuel?
