Ok here is my symptom...

My car is running like ASSSEEE!!! It back fires constantly and will barely idle unless i start taking out fuel or retarding the ignition. It also won't let me boost past 11psi. This just happened recently too. Anyhow... I reset the PFC and BAM, everything is peachy (except for the intital funky idle period). I can even do the full 13.5 boost. What is up with this? Any ideas? My plugs are changed and everything.

PS... Should I snip the wires that it tells me to? All i did was disconnect the Air idle valve thinggy on the back of the Upper Intake.

 

That's strange. How long had you been running the PFC and it was running fine before it started running like ***? Any changes to the PFC that might have altered its maps, on purpose or maybe the little kid who lives next door thinking its a cd changer and plays with it before you can stop him.

It runs fine for like 1.5 months, then suddenly pop pop pop pop pop POP POP. 2nd time it happens too. I don't know why it happens thou. Car runs beautifuly for the time until it starts acting up, then it just craps out.
