HELP on logs

Please see my attached los from last night. The car is a 89 with 660 pri, 900 sec. and Power FC. The boost maxed at 0.96 bar on a mix of pump and race gas. THe car was dynoed last week on pump gas and 0.86 bar. Hp was 256.7and 235 orque, the airfuel was between 11.5 and 12.5. I will scan the dyno later. I have 3rd gen, with T76 waiting to be completed. Here are my questions:

1. Will someone help me with my maps? The car was originally an AP Engineering tune but I messed with..

2. I'm planning on upgrading the turbo to a GT35 soon and install 900 prim and 1000 sec. Anyone willing to provide a map..

3. Any thoughts on the log...why does the knock stay up so high after I stopped run hard. ..

4. Should I increase fuel or reduce timing to be saf..I know this is not safe and I hope I did not hurt it last night...

I'm not a newbie, but I'm ready to get serious with my 7's. I want 400hp from the second gen and 500hp from the third gen.

THanks everyone..

If you look at the number of data points per cell: it appears you are in first gear and the 13 readings per second is so slow.

Most of your log is useless for real tuning except for (P18,N15), (P18,N16),
and (P17, N17).

Your car is very very noisy, and some high knock in the above area .

Without AFR readings, can't say what is happening.

I refuse to look at maps not downloaded in DAT format.

cewrx7r1 thanks for responding... if you give me and emaail I will forward the full file. I have a twin disk clutch that is pretty noisy when the clutch is in. How do I speed up the log readings...
I drove the car today with the commander only and it says max knock was 18. Is there some difference in calibration between the log and commander. I'm will to pa for tuning of the files over the net. I'm located in the Bahamas. The dyno AFR's were 12.5's before I logged I posted.

Thanks...even with the PFC you don't think I can run 900 and 1000, if so will the 660 and 1000 be enough for 400rwp

You need my tuning notes which tells all!

The more you log the slower the log rate. Think about how multi-tasking affects you.
The lower the gear, the lower the record count per cell.
My laptop is only 500MHz but it logs fast because it is dedicated for only logging.
All unnecessary software has been removed and only the needed Services are active.

12.5 AFR is too lean for your boost for a rotory engine. This is fine for the area between cruise and about 2psi boost.

For .95 bar your AFRs should be about 11.3 - 11.5 leanest.

No wonder your on boost knock is high.

THanks again..I will email you my files and the AP engineering file for comparsion. I could not understand why AP base map is so rich, then they reduce the PIM volts and RPM by 50% for injector correction. Why not simply reduce the base map?

You have to pay chuck for his notes, he has spent loads of time making the best tuning notes for the power Fc

I think it is like 40 or 50 bucks, just email him.

On the injectors, it isnt that the power FC cant handle the larger injectors. The problem is that the power fc can only fire the injectors so slow. You can use the 900cc injectors but you will have to tune the idle with the lag settings for the primary injectors. but the problem is that you will loose some of the injectors total volume. In other words you may have 900cc injectors but when you are done adjusting the lag you may only be able to use 800cc

You will understand this better when you get chucks notes

most of the time you can run 550pri and 1600sec and handle 400 hp

Rotory engines need to run richer because the exhaust runs a lot hotter than piston engines, and are more likely to detonate on leaner AFRs.

Who ever tuned your PFC aren't up to date on rotories and are lazy!
