Power FC help commander is making my car turn off

help commander is making my car turn off

So my power fc has just been installed I went thru the whole recommended process. But for some reason my commander does not work, I moved it around until it lit up but when that happened it cause my car to not turn on. Disconnected the commander and wow the car turned on, tried connecting my commander after the car was on and it turned my car off. Any suggestions?
