Heat causing Commander to go dark

Since my FD arrived from England I have noticed that, on the hotter days, my Commander screen will be completely dark blue, to the point where I cannot read any of the displayed values. Has anybody come across this problem before? If so, is there a solution? Or do I simply need to start storing my Commander in the glove box whenever I'm not driving during the summer months?

Thanks,

Levi

The LCD is heat sensitive, solution is to not allow it to bake in the sun

Hrm... is there any safe storage inside the vehicle to avoid this? It seems to me that the whole interior is always very toasty when she's been sitting outside for a couple hours in the afternoon =(

If no where else, jam it under the seat face down. I've never had a problem getting full contrast in 90+ deg weather.

I hold mine up to the A/C. That's if you've got A/C.
