WONG FRIED RICE

Okay i know this MAY or may not sound weird....but... have any of you ever experienced a "automatic reprogramming" of your power FC. Like your driving for awhile...u stop, turn your car off, come back a little later, and when u start the car...it runs like sh**, as if someone reprogrammed the power FC, but in fact was never actually touched by human hands since you left the car.

I put the stock ECU back in and everything ran fine with the exception of the check engine light that was caused by the three wires disconnected.

This happend to me with my automatic FD with the FC. I was very very disturbed because i had absolutely no idea what had happend.

Just curious if anyone else has ever experienced something of the sort.

Garfinkle s went from 1200 cc sec inj back to 850 cc sec inj by it self . The battery was out for a day or so before it was noted . could that cause a problem .

I've 'seen' it, yes. Not too often or repeatable. Most times it happens right after loading a map to the PFC and shutting the car down, then starting it up sometime later. Every time I have checked the load (Key On, Key Off, Key On) it's been okay. But if you have 'some time' go by before checking it, I find its at risk. Make any sense? Moral (for me) KOKO a couple times right after a upload (write to the PFC) and don't wait to do it.
