is it possible to have the pfc ecu connected to a laptop instead of a pfc commander? because the commander looks kind of lame.. would it cost alot for the software? isn't pfc plug and play?

Outside of the Datalogit, there's no way to do it, as far as I can recall. You either run the commander or nothing at all unless you have that Datalogit.

 

Would the FC-datalogit software work "WELL" with XP operated laptops? Also does the Power FC have/run the oil metering pump setting(like the factory would)? It seems like alot of standalone systems are missing this, such as M4 for one.

let me get this straight. The datalogit is NOT an A'pexi software program. It's someone else that wrote the software to interface with the A'pex Power FC?

 

yes, you are correct. dont let that get you down though.. . the datalogit is ever growing and is an awesome tuning device. the power fc isnt complete w/o it.

I havent used my Datalogit anywhere near its full potential and I feel it was worth every penny I paid for it. Once I finally get my butt in gear and buy myself a wide-band O2 sensor the thing will really be of value.

I wonder how the APEXi software compares with Datalogit...
