fuxuating idle w/new PFC

I just installed a new PFC and commander last night. Everything seems to run fine except when the car is warmed up, when I let off the gas the idle will fluxuate for a bout 10 sec and then settle down to normal Idle. The Rpm range is usually from 900-1600 rpm. Can anyone give me suggestions or an idea as to why it's doing this. It wasn't doing it with the stock computer when I had that in (same day). It's similar to a TPS malfunction but I'm pretty sure it's not that (as it's fine with the stock ECU).

Thanks

If not purchased from Ray and using a 13BREW harness then 4 wires cut as outlined in install instructions?

Talking

Hey I bought my Power FC about a month ago and for the first week or so I had the same problem with the idle. I guess because this is a learing computer it eventually works itself out and voila the seeking idle is gone. I do make sure that I let the car warm up everytime I drive it and I have noticed that the couple times that I haven't let it warm up enough it still seeks for a min or so. I guess my advise is to give it a week or so to learn your driving habits and the car and see if it works itself out. If not I would contact the person/company you bought it from and have them advise you. I hope this helps.

You need to have the car learn idle from a cold start. Let it idle for like 20-25 minutes. This is before you drive it at all. Sometimes you need to start over ... that means clearing the memory by disconnecting the power from the batter for 15 minutes. If cold start learning doesn't work ... then try learning after a warm/hot start.

Oh yeah, look at stock maps and find the cells that are "100" in INJ value and richen them up a little. Look at the various maps on the forum for values to try.

I fixed this by increasing the no electric load, no air con load idle speed. I did not allow the learning from cold regime to take place, i fitted the PFC when the engine was warm. I will try allowing a self learn from cold with default settings, but the no load idle increase worked fine.
