engine noise @ idle

just put a new engine in and made it through breakin at idle the knock on my pfc is bouncing between 4 and 25 but if i turn the ac on it stays below 14 and the engine noise goes up when you let the engine slow the car to about 30 when steve kan tuned it on the last engine under boost and hard driving it would only get to 35 and he said this was normal but it didn't bounce at idle as dramatically i think its just a little out of time when going down the highway and driving around it doesn't get above 28 and it doesn't bounce it hold steady untill i get it tuned by steve kan again i am driving it with no boost and staying under 4500 rpm does anyone see this as a engine saftey problem

any ideas would be appreciated

Look for loose stuff or parts hitting/scrapping other parts.
This should keep you busy and learning for a few hours.

Or, just do not look at knock and have Steve tune it and don't worry.
