Question Does a maps edidting is needed ?

Hi everyone!

We've rebuilt an engine of my '99 FD3S (with ALS seals), made a light porting.
Now I've run about 1800 km in a soft mode.

In this car installed a Power FC ver 5, bigger downpipe, without cat, 76mm exhaust with HKS silencer, stock fuel pump, stock injectors, stock air filter (wanna buy Blitz LMD instead stock), stock intercooler.

We are going to install HKS EGT sensor and Apexi AVCR.

Now I don't know what maps are good for my car ?
Some people tell me that I have to edit Power FC stock maps, other said that almost everything in my car is stock so the consider that we don't need maps editing.

There are not a lot of tuners who knows rotary engines, so I don't know what to do.

Please help me , friends

No reason for the ACV-R , the PFC controls boost.

The one issue is the full exhaust, but if you installed the silencer in the exhaust that should be restrictive enough to prevent boost creep. Did you port the wastegate on the turbos when you had them off? If the boost is staying around 11-12 psi then the base map can be used.

Installation of a wideband would tell you if your map is safe.

If you continue to add airflow mods (intake, intercooler, etc) you will need to upgrade the pump and injectors. We upgrade the fuel pump with intake, DP and catback.

Thank you, Banzai!

We didn't port wastegate on the turbos.

All the widebands we carry are good, just comes down to what look you want. The AEM has a little less wiring for installation. Widebands
