Do I have to retune for 1300 injectors?

Do I have to retune my PFC for 1300 secondaries?

I know I have to change the injector duty to 1300.....

Anything else?

From owner consensus, you might need to fine tune your fuel a little. XS also told this to a friend.

I'm currently having my 850s punched out to 1200s
by RC. I will be doing the exact same thing when I get them back.

You will have to fine tune, but you also need to change the Injector Pulse Timing Correction. Here are the values for 1300cc injectors.

FR-PR 100% -0.12
FR-SC 100% +0.16
Rr-Pr 100% -0.12
Rr-Sc 100% +0.16

Hope that helps

Rich,

RC told me $175 per injector with about a 2 week turnaround.

Those are top feed injectors, you would have to use a new fuel rail if they send the ones in the pic.

Hi Chuck,
I should be getting the 1200cc soon, let me know what fine tuning you are doing.
Thanks Colin

Jason,

Why do you have to change to timing on the 2 primary injectors if they are staying the same? I can see the reason for the change for the secondaries going to 1300 and is it really that much of a change?

stock 850cc lag time .77
1300cc lag time .93

the difference shown by the +.16msec listed earlier.

Thanks for the info and clarification,

Tim Benton
