Datalogit, injection map, base map
I hope I'm not missing anything here.
What are the maps that are posted in the map section?
In the datalogit software, there is injection map & base map. Which is it? And stop calling it Fuel map. It seems like you need both.
Next, the data posted in the map section is like:121, 120, 122 ect. If I input these in the inj map table, it doesn't take it. It just goes to 1.496 which I think is the max value.
The default values in the inj map are like 1.215, 1.215, etc. It's like the values posted in the map section divided by 100. If so, why not post the correct values in the map section. That section is junk I tell u.
Am I missing something here? If you post the maps, shouldn't you post the base map and the injection map? Which is it?

Those maps were made long before the Datalogit was available. Back then we didn't have access to the Base Map, just the "Fuel Map", which is the Inj Correction map you can access with the Commander.
You are correct that you need both, sort of. The way it was intened to work was like this. The "Base Map" is a value (I believe in millisecond) that would theoretically get you 14.7:1 A/F ratio. The Injector Correction map is a multiplier that you add to the Base Map value to achieve the desired A/F ratio. Before the Datalogit you could only access the Inj Correction map. Now that we can access the Base Map directly some people choose to set the Inj Correction map to 1.0 and make all the changes directly to the Base Map.
