cuts out when cold

Untill my car fully warms up it tries to cut out at two different times. For a split second when I first apply the throttle and when coming to a stop it has to "catch" itself to idle (drops down to about 500-600 rpm and kicks back up to idle, but sometimes stalls out). I'm definitely looking into a wideband and datalogit b/c this is driving me nuts. Just wondering if anyone else has had similar problems and if there is anything I can do with the commander settings to help in the mean time. Thanks for any input.

Brian

You might need to adjust the water temp correction table.

My tunning notes which are for sale explains how to do this!

One of my friends use to tune his car with datalogit and said that there is a "fuel tip in" adjustment. He thought this could be the cause. Not sure what all this does as I haven't gotten my datalogit yet.

It is called ACCERLERATION ENRICHMENT CORRECTION in PFC lingo, or
ACCELERATE INJECTOR (ms) in DATALOGIT lingo.

It has no affect on starting or idling.

I have the same problem. When I install the stock computer the issue goes away, but with the pfc the car will stall shortly after startup when I apply throttle and sometimes coming off revs it will not catch the idle and stall??? I have only noticed this after having a rebuilt engine installed. Before the rebuild the pfc did not seem to have as much difficulty holding idle, although it would hunt at times due to the wax pellet thermo sensor being worn (not the correct term). Anyway, after the rebuild, no hunting, but flakey idle??? Any help is greatly appreciated as this is quite annoying. I had the pfc retuned for afr on the dyno at kdr, but haven't been back to address the idle issue since it is quite a drive.

There are multiple TB and PFC settings that affect: start up, cold and hot idle, and acceleration. Time to start searching and reading older posts or buy my tuning notes.
