Power FC controlling fans?

controlling fans?

i have a 97 fd with a new version pfc,my question is can i control my fans to cut in sooner as it gets a bit hot on the track,ie is there anything under settings to do this,and when i go single turbo can the pfc be wired in to car to run say 16psi,thanks,les.

You need a Datalogit to adjust the PFC fan trigger. There is also another fan trigger from the A/C and one from the thermoswitch, unless Mazda changed something on the series 7 (never even seen one in the states so I couldn't tell you). Each trigger raises the fan speed by one increment.

ok,thats good to know,when i have the a/c on while going around the track it does keep the temps down,will look in to the data logic side of things when i go single turbo, i got issues with the battery spewing water/acid over engine bay now,only does it when going over 180kms,might look at a closed in race battery,thanks for your reply mate,les...
