alright, i just read an an article on some thread that i serched up on another forum through google.com. i read that there is something messed up in the installation of the pfc. i felt like i had no problems with installation. i took my time and followed the diagram. could somebody please post a picture of the right wires to cut so i can compare it to mine. the colors on mine matched up, but i want to make sure. also, i followed someones advice to lower my boost settings and duty cycle. i did that and i havent had what seemed to be fuel leaking from under my intake manifold. the guys settings were supposed to set my boost to like 12-13 psi. they were as follows: setting #1. pri .80 duty cycle 50% sec .85 50%. the #2 setting was to be left alone. well, i drove it and am still getting 15 psi. . . . WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! if spyfish sees this, please contact me or answer this thread or something. i live in smyrna, tn. . . and i need help. . . bad. i think everybody on this forum can vouch for that. hehe. okay, thanks everybody!!!
make sure when you exit out of the boost setting screen the curser is at which ever boost set your wanting to use.
basically, which ever setting group your curser is on when you leave the screen is the setting your going to be using.
Try something along the lines of this, since the boost settings #1 and #2 are the same in the example it wouldnt really matter which one you are on when you exit the screen.
Set 1....... Pr 0.80 kg/cm^2 52%
.................Sc 0.80 kg/cm^2 60%
Set 2........Pr 0.80 kg/cm^2 52%
.................Sc 0.80 kg/cm^2 60%
The way it works the you can have 2 boost setting like daily setting and race setting. The set #1 could be your daily setting at say 11psi then the setting #2 could be your race setting at 13psi. The pr and sc is for the primary(pr) turbo boost level and the seconday(sc)boost level. Its basically the pr is your boost below turbo transition and the sc is your boost after turbo transition.
Hopefully this will help, if not you might need an additional boost controller but most people dont.
If your boost is to low you can up the % to the far right untill the boost gets up to .80
Good Luck, hope it helps some
