Question Can I actually turn Down boost ?..using the Power FC????

OR.....

am I dreaming, and I need to open the waste gate.

With my DP, catback and K+N drop in airfilter I'm seeing a full bar on my Commander. Am I fucked or what? My friends think there may be a setting on the commander unit to somehow drop boost. I did just put in a big fuel pump, this could help a little.

My mechanic says I have to open the wastegate on my turbos, and thats the only way to bleed off the excess boost.

****. I don't want to spend more cash?

Isn't there such thing as boost control in the negative direction??? I just shelled out tons of cash to get my vaccume system re-done. I really don't want to pay for a wastegate job right now..

WTF?
anyone????

go to the settings of the PFC, then go to the boost settings. Within that screen you'll see2 boost settings.

Just lower the numbers of the duty cycle, number of the far right a couple of clicks, and go for a run with it on the monitor screen to see what its hitting. If you to lower it some more, do the same. You can lower the numbers to the left, the .8 or .9 number, thats the number you are trying to hit, the duty cycle number helps it ry to hit it.
hope you have a commander
