Power FC Boost reading question
Boost reading question
I was wondering what was the correct readout for boost here.
Gauge says approx. 15.8psi
PFC commander or datalogit boost says 1.00~14.22psi
and Datalogit PIM says ~20500=14.93psi
I know the commander is low, but is 15.8 right or is 14.9 right??
Also what should a car with seq. twins. make hp wise with all bolt on's, 4x850cc, Walbro, custom IC, stock ports, 15psi @ 10.9:1afr?? I didn't make the power I thought it would and I'm thinking my engine may be the cause, but I'm just trying to see if I may have another restriction somewhere. BTW my IAT was about 55C on the dyno due to heat soak, how much would that hurt, I'm thinking 5-6hp??

It has been posted many times about how the PFC map sensor scale/offset are wrong and cause the PFC and DL boost values to be low.
Read the thread about calibrating the stock map sensor.
Your boost gauge will be more accurate.
PIM ABS 20500 = 14.45psi relative.
*******************************
15psi with a safe AFR of 11.2 will be about 350whp.
