I was searching all over to find one with no luck
Where can I get one and how much ?
Is it just the solenoid valve or there is more to it ... ?

Thanks ...

Cool

DOH! The PFC can control boost using the stock Mazda solenoids!
Or, you can buy any seperate boost controller.

So what is your question?

You probably wan't the boost control kit, unless your going single you don't need it since the PFC itself can control boost..

I'm going single in the matter of days, I recently bot an RX6B kit (I'm polishing it right now), just waiting for some nice weather to start the project.

Right now I'm running my twins on non-seq. mode (check my sig.) and I have a manual boost controler, which is OK for now but I'm doing alot of improvements and besides going single the elec. BC is going to be one of them.

Since I hate adding another box or unnececary gadget to my car like the apex-i avcr HKS blahh, blahh etc... I thought I might just add a bc to my existing PFC and control/adjust boost from the commander.

I know apex-i has the BC for the PFC but I can't find a dealer who sells it...

Thanks...

The boost control kit is a good unit but I believe that an HKS or Blitz will do better than the PFC boost control kit...I was gonna go that direction too but it is hard to find anybody selling the kit so I went ahead and got the blitz SBCid3, it is small and compact and has a warning light if you overboost.

Since you didn't read my question well, here is one more time.

I'm looking to buy a boost controler for the PFC, to make it clear, not just any elec. boost controler.

I know that PFC can control the boost w/the stock mazda solenoid but for my aplication (or any single turbo aplication) will not be safe.

Thanks for your reply.

Thanks man, I will do some search on that BC, I might consider going that way to, since I don't have much experience in elec. BC's, what ever you guys suggest I'll take in consideration...

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it...

Thumbs down

It helps when the person asking questions, asks in a manner that people will understand WTF is being asked!

Go read this thread about the same issue by someone who knows how to ask.

I don't know why you are being a dick, even your first reply was harsh .

What's so hard for you to understand, I'm looking for the boost controler for PFC, should I perhaps draw it for you...

Boost Controller

I think our question is simular, The PFC offers a boost control kit if you are going choose to upgrade to a single turbo or choose to run very high boost with the twins. I believe this is the only option available, if you choose to use the PFC commander.

I looked into this a while back and found one guy on ebay that had them. I think they were ~ $300-$350. I dont remember the name on ebay, but he did sell Power FCs. It might have been jap parts specialist...but not sure.

Yeah I guess so, lol.
I don't seem to find a dealer who sells it though.
Here is the link from apex-i's website of the PFC BC kit/solenoid.
http://www.apexi-usa.com/electronics_boost.asp

As I mentioned above I alrady have a single RX6B kit sitting in my garage ready to install, so I'm trying to get all parts needed so when I start putting **** together I don't get stuck.

As of right now I'm running the twins in non-seq mode and I'm usnig a manual BC, but after I install the bad boy I'd like to ba able to actualy control/change the boost from the PFC commander.
Also, I don't want to install a another kind of elec. BC's, I hate putting another unneesary gadget/box in my car, I like to keep things simple.

What you want is the special boost control solenoid kit. The PFC already has a boost control system built in. See your statement below.
Once again your ignorance shines through!

hey wassup,

Just wanted to say, I use the PFC with the optional Apex boost controller kit and it works great. The kit comes with a 3 bar map sensor, Apex boost solenoid, and all the accessories. It has most of the option of the AVCR built into one unit by going to Option 2 on the PFC. I use it because my tuner recommend it... Use what your local tuner recommends. Check out SRmotorsports.com for the kit. Good luck

If you understood my question since the first time I asked, than why all the useless typing is needed anyway.

Maybe I didn't explain in details exactly what I was looking for, and also didn't want to make a long post because many people when they see a huge post tend to skip most of the reading anyway and end up asking the same thing all over again, it happens all the time, but I knew most of the very knowledgeable people here in PFC field , like yourself for example will definitely understand what I meant and give me some sort of help or idea of what should I expect from that product I'm looking for and where to buy it as my original question was.

To make the long story short, If you realy didn't get what I meant you could of just asked if the optional PFC boost solenoid/kit is what I was looking for like others did ask...

Thanks poorboyracing, I appreciate your help.
The reason I'd like using Power FC to control boost is because is done with the commander and no other display units and boxes to install, also because I think apex-i makes great products too.

I don't have a tunner nor a mechanic, I been doing all the work myself in my car for ages, yes my powers FC is not tunned yet, I'm planning to start a new single turbo project soon and many other stuff will be done at the same time, so I'm trying to get most of the things together before I start so I don't get stuckin the middle of the job, and than tune and dyno after.

Perhaps a guy here in Long Island, NY will tune my PFC after my project is finished, or KDR if they are not booked for months as they usualy are.

By the way I browsed srmotorsports but I couldn't seem to find the boost controler kit for PFC, maybe I should give them a call instead.

Great find Sneezer thanks, but I think I'm scratch of the PFC BCK from my "to buy list" , since it's not available here in US and I have been reading alot about it and being told that it's not easy to tune and the capabillities of it aren't quiet as good as getting a simple elec. BC from greddy or other manufactor.

Most likely I'll just get a Profec B Type S, I read alot of guys here have good experience with it and ease of tunning.

Thank you'all for the help, I realy apreciate it...
