What's the bigest size injectors that the pfc can handle?

 

I have heard that someone used 1680 in a Alc setup, but the problem with large primary injectors is that the power fc has a minimun injection time, so you only can go so slow on the idle area.

 

The 1680's are terribad outdated injectors. I'd be looking at Injector Dynamics (ID1000's for primaries) these days, no need for dropping resisters with them also and far more accurate then Indy Blues.

 

Will the Power FC be able to handle Injector Dynamics 1000cc for primaries? Does the time become an issue with these high impedance injectors?

 

What setup are you running? You really don't need to upgrade the primary injectors for most setups. I'd keep the stock 550's and run the old low impedence Bosch EV1 1680's or the Injector Dynamics (really a modified Bosch EV14) 2000cc secondary's. Just avoid the problem altogether. The PFC is pretty good at controlling staging.

For what it's worth though, I am running Greddy/Denso 720 primaries and Bosch 1680 secondary's on my s4 T2. I am using the factory 6 ohm resistor pack that came on 86 - 87 1/2 models. But I put this setup together over two years ago. If I could do it again I would do 550/2000 .

 

I run 850cc /1680cc injectors. Cruise and idle is perfect!! Just find a good tuner.
