3Bar Gm Sensor for $200.00 wow I need to get into that business.... as I recall I bought mine off a Dealership's GM Parts Dept. and felt raped at seventy (7X.XX) some odd dollars...

Go to a GM dealer and ask for the boost sensor that came off a 93 Typhoon, I think was the year, it's like a Jimmy with Turbo.... they only made it for 1-2 years, and there was no other boost sensor on those .... also Grand Nationals had them I think....

Most Online GM parts dept.'s have parts lookups where you can see what cars that part fit too....

Syclones and Typhoons had a 2-bar.

AFAIK 89 Turbo Trans Am's (GN motor) are the only GM car with the 3-Bar.

Does anyone know about the Denso 3 bar map sensor? I think I 've heard that it came from a supra? I'm not sure though, just seen someone using one and that's what they said it was out of.

Thanks

After a small search I think the Denso Map Sensor is the ApexI Map Sensor?

Does it plug right in with out cut and splicing?

Thanks

Denso makes the stock map sensor for FDs. I havent recieved my apexi 3bar sensor as of yet but when I do i'll take pics. I know the apexi 3bar is a plug n play unit unlike the GM 3bar sensors..

Any will work, but you will have to calibrate it to have the correct scale and offset if yoy want to have displayed boost and ABS PIM pressures.

the Apexi 3 bar map sensor use the Denso one. so it should have the same plug as ur stock one.. just slightly different shape than ur stock.

I'm running the apexi /denso 3 bar. its been working fine. But unless you're boosting over 15 psi, there's really no need to get a 3 bar.
