Apexi power fc question

Hi I have a 93 rx7 and Im going to build it up to about 500hp but when it comes to the computer tuning I have no clue what to do so my question is will a Apexi power fc hold up to 500hp or will I have to switch to a Haltech. I would really like to use the Apexi power fc because they are pretty cost effective any suggestion.
Thanks

Sounds like you have quite a bit of research ahead of you.
The PFC is not going to be the limiting factor at that power level. The preparation of the block, along with matching the correct ancillary accessories (turbos, injectors, etc) will determine how much power a given a combination will make.
If your ingredients dont work together, or there isnt enough experience in tuning it, then it will make 400-500hp for 2 weeks..

If you are planning on doing any tuning yourself make sure to factor in the price of a datalogit with the PFC before comparing cost with other ecu's.

Ok so the datalogit is to tune the ecu easier on a laptop also how hard would it be to tune.

Contact Raymond "arghx" to join the best PFC private group that I started back in 2006. It has starter maps, much tech info, tuning notes, etc.
