Apexi AVCR Map sensor with Power FC?

Hello all

I am wondering if something is possible? I have an AVCR boost controller and the Power FC with Datalogit. Could I tap into the map sensor that comes with the AVCR so the Power FC could read off of this instead of buying an additional GM 3 Bar map sensor for the Power FC. Maybe someone has already done this?

Thanks
John

hello
yes you can use the same map sensor, the boost kit and the avcr kit use the same denso map sensor. the best way to do achieve this is to buy the 3 pin (if your PFC has a 3pin boost kit port) harness and plug in the harness, then splice the avcr map sensor signal wire (should be green) onto the green wire on the 3 pin boost kit harness. this will allow "Boost" to be displayed on the hand controller, the sensor BOST will have a value also.

if your PFC has a 5 pin port (white socket on the side of the PFC) then buy the 5 pin kit harness. the harness is about $25 USD and just makes it easy to plug in and run the signal wire. www.nengun.com or your local apexi dealer will have the 3pin and 5pin harness in stock. on nengun its under apexi, d-jetro option parts.

Thanks paulr33, I thought this was possible.

Anyone know what would the settings be for scale and offset with the apexi sensor? Would it be the same for the 3bar Apexi sensor sold separately?
