They dont make a PFC for the S4 cars but they do for the S5's. Its made by AP engineering which I understand is a speciality division within Apexi. They basically take an FD unit and modify it to work on the 89-91 cars. Im currently running one on my car and so far Im very satisified overall.

i have no clue why anyone would choose a PFC over a microtech or haltech, from what i've heard they are a total bitch to tune and the displays it uses are confusing/hard to read.

It baffles me too... Microtech and Haltech are sooo much better.... Why the hell would anyone pay $1300 for a PFC when you can get a better ems with some nice upgrades and features for the same price and cheaper without some of the addons.

I've got an rtek and I'm not super happy with it. It runs super rich and isn't tunable. I guess I'll go microtech when I can.

You're right, you have no clue per your own acknowledgement, "from what i've heard."

I have nothing against either of these EMS's as I installed an LT8 on my last turbo II. As far as being, 'sooo much better' Im not sure I agree with that. I really liked the fact that it took me all of 1hr to install and drive around.
