Anyone know what sensor "cat" might be?

My car doesn't start with a pfc, but does with stock ecu...I read all the same sensors as my friends except for the "cat" sensor on the sensor check screen..anyone got a idea what that is?

This might be a topic for the ECU forum section, but I believe it is either one of two things.

Either the ECu thinks the cat is too hot, and will not start.... I am not sure if there is a sensor that goes from the air pump to the cat or not...

Did you pull the pins for your power FC? There are 4 wires that have to be cut, or remove the pins from the power FC, if you didn't do this... you're going to have problems.

sometimes if you have a sensor error, you can throw a resistor inbetween the pos and negative and get the sensor to read. Never had this problem, so I am not sure on what it is. I'll look around and if I come up with something I'll post.

Catalyzer Thermo Sensor Switch of course!!

I actually have no clue what it's referring to except maybe the overheat exhaust light. I've never even noticed it before.

glad that was the problem we talked about, I figured that you probably thought I was full of it when I said it was the wiring that goes to the trigger sensor but I had seen this problem half a dozen times already so I figured that was where your problem was.

maybe i should start charging for phone call questions from now on...... j/k
