What do you mean? You can hook it up to the Datalogit box for tuning/datalogging, if that's what you mean.

I've been askin around bcoz i dunno anything about 02 sensors. I have a 2000 Series VIII Rx7 with an incar pc, a powerfc and a datalogit. I was told by one person that i need a wideband o2 sensor to monitor the air/fuel ratio. Then another person said that I don't need to buy one because it comes with the powerfc specific to the car.

I want to be able to log my air/fuel mixture, so do i need one, if so is there one someone could reccommend?

Don’t get the aem, look into the innovate lc1 or standalone lm1, much better units to use in tandem with this hardware.

You most likely have a narrowband O2 (which is stock)not a wide band O2 for logging relevant/accurate AFRs

Read around the forum for a while you will really find a lot of good info on the toppic

The PFC with the Commander is to your hand as the PFC with the DATALOGIT is to a woman. Which would you prefer, your hand or a woman?

AEM will only read down to 11.0 A/F, which is ok since that is where you want to be but makes it more difficult to tune.

I have heard the AEM does not work with the datalogit.

according to the instructions the AEM measures 10-18.5 afr's and displays them numerically but the sweeping LED's only show 11-16.75

LED 1 is lit for 10-11 and LED 24 is lit for 16.75-18.5

LED's 2 to 23 go in 0.25 afr increments

I had lots of trouble getting anything accurate or reliable from the AEM UEGO unit, I posted a thread here a couple of years ago about it. If its not too late I'd reccomend getting something from Innovate Motorsports, either the LM-1 or the LC-1, I've had both and they are not only reliable but EASY to set up and use with datalogit or their own software. And unlike the AEM you can program the output YOU want from the unit linearly and not use some wacky polynomial like the AEM.

Like a few others on this forum I've had bad experiences with things from AEM, I'll never buy something with their name on it again.
