Hey Guys and Gals,

I was wondering if someone can send me a map that I can upload into my power fc to get my FD running safely until I get a tune. At the moment, it idles rough and it is running super rich. The car stumbles and turns off at a red light sometimes unless I rev it a little at the red light so the idle stabilizes. I plan on getting a tune in the couple of months but I would still like to drive the car safely to meets and weekend drives around town.

Here is my setup.

Street Ported Engine
M2 IC and Air Box
Power FC
Mazda Performance Radiator
Deleted AST
Short Shifter
Ground Control with GAB shocks
Downpipe- wrapped and jet hot coated
Bonez Hiflow Cat
PFS catback
New 99 spec turbos
Efini ypipe
Dual Oil Coolers
HKS Twin Power

Any help would be appreciated. I am located in Torrance in case anyone wants to meet up.

Initialize the map back to stock as it was made for mild mods.
About 99.9 % of all maps will work fine for idle, cruise and very light boost as that part is very similar.

Just have to be sure that the injector setup is stock.

 

I forgot to post. I have 550cc primary and 1200cc secondary injectors. I guess initializing the map back to stock wont work.

 

Don't see a wideband listed, are you sure it's not running lean and cutting out? Some people count on the stock map way more than they should and just keep pushing until they mess something up. That map is supposed to get the car to the tuner, not driving daily.

 

My fault again. I have a wideband as well. It's actually showing that it is running super rich.

 

Initialize the PFC and check this out. People are very hesitant to just pass out tunes because of the potential liability. Every car is so different that there isn't anything even close to 'one size fits all'.

Initialize the PFC and set the secondary injectors to 1200. They only come into use at very high cruise speeds or boost.

Anyway if they do come on, the AFRS would be rich.
