4x1000 ID injectors
Hi guys,
My car is tuned with 4x1000 sard/denso injectors with resistor. Now, I went for another setup, got rid of the low impedance injectors and resistor and I replaced them with 4x1000 ID 's. If I change the lag times will I be OK or do I have to re tune the car? Do I need to change anything else in my PFC?
Thanks!

When ever changing injectors , no matter how well you do it with or without true lag tables;
you should retune for safety.
If at your lowest boost of "X1" was tuned for "N1" AFR, for first tune with the new setup, add 5% fuel and log the AFR. From this it should be safe and hopefully richer. You can then know how the AFRs changed along with the new injectors plus the +5% fuel. Using this +/- change in AFR, you can then change the complete boost area if needed.

Thanks for the reply!
Changed the lag times for both the primary and secondary injectors but as you said car has to be retuned.. As I am new to pfc, even though I searched and read a lot, a help from someone who knows is always better.. My injector map is all 14,0 while the base map has different values, do I alter both maps or just the base map? any other settings that I have to pay attention too? I have an xd 16 gauge inside and that would be my guide when tuning..
Thanks in advance,
George

Read again and now I know how the injectors map and base map work.. So silly question..
Can you help me out a bit with the other numbers in settings 5, if I tell you what numbers I have inserted for my setup?
Thanks

I have set my front and rear primary as 0.55, the Q primary and secondary as 1015 and the dead times for primary and secondary as 2.600, 1.675, 1.240, 0.990, 0.805 Anything else I need to change?
