12V at TPS connector, WHY? S5 FC

The car is a s5 vert with a t2 swap. I'm using the stock s5 na harness, banzai adapter, map, and iat.
The car WILL run, poorly. I have a feeling it's because of the TPS so I'm trying to troubleshoot it.
I'm surprised when I see 12V on the 2 center pins of the 6 pin plug.
In the commander ECT sensor page I see:
VTA1 reads 4.85 and VTA2 reads 4.97 and these values don't change at all... even if the tps is unplugged. VTA1 is highlighted. There is never any change in this page when the tps moves.

I DID test the resistance sweep on both tps's, and tried 2 separate TPSs as well.
Chris from banzai tried to help me a little bit but it really does not seem to be a PFC or harness adapter issue at all because when the engine harness is unplugged from the banzai harness adapter, I still get the 12v at the tps.
Has anyone else encountered this before? Maybe this belongs in the second gen section since it doesn't seem to be directly related to the PFC.

does the voltage at the TPS connector pins change at all as you move the plunger? You have to narrow it down somehow. reference voltage goes in and signal voltage comes out. Have you checked every ground wire? There is a major ground wire ring terminal under the UIM.

I think you are trying to connect the TPS to the OMP connector. It looks similar but has B/W 12v wires in both center pins. This is why I asked you if you were testing the br/w wire.

LOL, +1 for Chris @ Banzai Racing!

I just realized the OMP and TPS plugs are the same on an S5 harness.

THANK YOU for continuing to help me figure that out even after we decided it had nothing to do with the PFC or the Banzai harness adapter!
