Have I missed something?

you still need to use the factory mazda alternator spacer.

I thought I forgotten some kind of spacer, but the waterpump is 65mm wide where the alternator mounts... I´ve put 5 washers there until I found the spacer!
What does this spacer look like?

Yes, there are two different sizes of spacers; one for the external-fan alts (1st gens) and one for the internal fan alts (2nd gens). It should be a similar diameter to the lower boss of the alternator bracket (~24mm, or there abouts) and exactly the thickness of the difference between the lower mounting boss and the distance between the ears of the alternator. Sorry I can't describe it better. On my 1st gen, I discovered that the previous owner must have lost the spacer, as they substituted a lug nut!

I don´t think there is any spacer there stock in my application.
The space between the ears is 65mm and the waterpump is 65mm where
the alt is supposed to be mounted. So it´s no problem to mount the alt in the stock location without any spacer... But I just make one myself and everything would work out well

Here is a pic of it installed in my car with the temporary washers.

Any idea if this will fit a 13B-RE? I have some major clearence issues with my s4 alt and the tps on the RE TB, moving would solve so many prob's for me

Nice. Um, would that have been an FD water pump? No spacer on those. The only other exception would be the really old stuff (pre rx-7). Everything else came with a spacer. An FD alt would just need a 2nd gen alt spacer.

Hey, a few radical guys are trying to get me to develop one for the FD, though it would *require* an electric WP.

Actually, yes, the -RE has the earlier front cover, unlike the -REW. It should fit without modification.

Hmph...

The Gates XL 7370 didn't work for me, though, and I had to go with a 7380. 7375 would've worked better, but they were out of them and had 7380 so I gave it a shot and it was good, got close to the frame, though.

Also I know I don't need the dual belts anymore, but I figured since I already had the hIGGI dual pulley I might as well just put both belts on for *****

EDIT
Here's a couple more showing more of the engine bay.

It won't fit anything with the FD-style front cover, which I believe the 20Bs have (at least the one we have in the shop, currently). I am prototyping a bracket for the FDs, but I'm not sure it will become a regular product because the market would be so small; only those who want to run an electric WP, due to the reverse rotation making belt routing impossible.

There are only two unpaid orders remaining and both people contacted me, intending to make final payment soon. Thank you everybody for making this a successful group buy. If you think it worked out well, feel free to add to my "reputation points" (that little button at the bottom left, below my screen name and stats, with a check mark and an X mark). Not important, but it's always nice to get recognition.

A couple, but they are going into inventory and being sold at full retail (which I have not set yet, but it will be higher than the GB price, of course). It's going to take me a while to get more made, so there's no sense in blowing out the last couple of them only to have none left. I was originally only planning to sell 10 - 15 of them through the GB, so I'd have plenty left over, but it proved more popular than I imagined.

Please note that I will be in away in Birmingham, Alabama over the weekend to crew in the Grand Am Cup race. If any payments come in Thursday or Friday, the shipping will have to wait until I'm back on Monday.

Blake, any idea or ETA on the brackets to show up on the Pineapple Racing website. I was on holiday when the groupbuy was here and i was planning to make one after the holiday, but why re-invent the wheel......

I'm having more made up....just waiting to see if there were any design problems with the previous batch. No complaints, so everything is looking good. I plan to have the next batch done in time for Sevenstock 8, in early October, at the latest. Probably much sooner, as we are 100% sold out and people are starting to harass me.

I'm working on a prototype for the FD, but it would *require* an electric Water Pump, as the FD mechanical water pump turns backwards so there is no way to route a belt. When the new batch of FB/FC brackets gets cut, I'll have some prototypes cut as well.
