Get used to it. Anyone offended by the thought of transplanting another manufacturer's engine into a car they hold dear will typically advise you to just buy the car the engine in question came from, or for that matter, any car other than the one you're about to desecrate.

Hey Jim maybe if you read what I wrote you would understand what I'm saying. I'm saying that the Rotary engine has potential to more efficient and reliable than current piston engines. I did not say that they are already more efficient and reliable.

Are you trying to say that you think all Rotary engines have no purpose and should just be recycled as paperweights? I don't think that's a good idea. What if they had said that when the piston engine was being developed...

"The piston engine will never be as powerful, efficient, or reliable as our steam engine. We might as well just bag on the piston engine design. Steam is the future."

What if they had said that? Where would we be? The rotary engine might be the next evolution in engine design. And who know's what's next?
