Short answer is no, and you probably couldnt do it.

Long answer is youd have to fabricate engine mounts and a transmission crossmember for whatever transmission youll use with those engines, unless you make a custom adaptor plate to mount it to the mazda tranny, and get a new driveshaft cut.

I HAVE seen a ford 2.3 turbo put into an FB before, www.boostbros.com

the motor mounts and crossmembers are no problem, would the sr or ka even fit in an fb? would it fit between the shock towers? Would i have firewall issues?

Yes it will fit. You can box the firewall if you really want to, but therse no need.

v8s will fit in there, dont worry so badly about two 4bangers :P

I used to be in NC as a "rotary" mechanic or the one the locals would call. Anyway too, I'm also planning a SR20det swap into my now SBC V8 FB. I don't have the engine yet and have got no diminsions on the SR, so my only concern is te hight at the front of the cam cover... I don't want a scoop of any sort. I'm selling all of my V8 stuff, and then will pick up a SR and begin the chaos.
