...people have been warned MULTIPLE times about this kind of ****; WHY ARN'T PEOPLE GETTING INTO TROUBLE FOR TROLLING INTO THE SWAP FORUM AND BEING ****??? It's been warned, mentioned, PM'ed and everything else, but still keeps going on...

No. you just put the 13B on the same level as Porsche V10 making gobs of power out of a $600,000 car. Get ******* real.

I love the rotor, but lets keep it real. For all it's uniqueness it makes the power of a 4 cylinder, has the fuel economy of a 6 cylinder, makes torque on par with motorcycles, and has the reliability of.. well.. a rotor motor.. I know of no other motor that is guaranteed to last less than 60K boosted that isn't some monster race motor that spends 90% of it's life at WOT. I know of no other car that calls it's first round of mods, reliability mods either.

I know I'm bringing this thread back from the dead. I'd love to do this. I have a dsm and would gladly tear it apart in a heartbeat to make this happen. I guess the main thing I'd need to start with is the shell but there's other things I'm curious about as well.

1.) Wondering how the motor was mounted in the engine bay since the stock mounts are to the very rear of the motor.
2.) What transmission was used? I know it was an automatic but wonder what would be needed to slap in a manual. That'd be so much fun. Guess this would maybe be the biggest challenge.
3.) Wondering what was used for the engine management. I'd personally wanna swap over the dsm wiring harness and ecu but not sure how to tie it in so that everything would still work.

Guess those are really the only problems I can really think of at the moment. Would think everything else would be cake. I love that FD 4G63'd car more than any other. Lol. It's freakin sweet!!!! Just that the info on doing this swap is like, well, none. At least not any that I've been able to find so far.

1)The 4G63 block does come RWD in a pickup (Mitsubishi Mighty Max), so the mighty max mounts bolt right up,so does the Starion mounts. Dont use the Starion or Mighty Max tranny because they are too weak. Use the Buschur adapter plate from Buschur Racing that allows you to bolt up the 4g63 to ANY Ford or Chevy tranny. Then use any V8 swap tranny mount bracket (Grannys or Hinson) to mount the tranny, very simple.
2)Any Chevy or Ford tranny. To use a stick, use a ACT's cromolly flywheel(because it clears the adapter plate), if Ford; use the 4cyl turbo Mustang clutch, if Chevy use a custom clutch from any clutch manufacturer(clutchnet.com is the cheapest and best) with Chevy center splines, Mitsu diameter.
3)Dude, standalone is king. TEC3R is the king of kings in my opinion.
