While it may work, even if it's thicker, the way it's just welded onto the bottom of the stock subframe end is not as strong as the original stock piece. I absolutely wouldn't leave my car like that. At least gusset some small triangles from the new flat piece you added in to the caps you welded onto the stock subframe where you cut it.

end of the day and all we have to do is mount this thing and then on to the next thing the inter cooler piping

this fit just nice there is still more work to do to it

got to make slots for the second fan on the back side of the radiator

due to running two fans on this set up we will need the flaps

fan in place with the radiator

fan on the back side to use the flaps when it comes on
