lol why are the ka's so cool??? will someone inform me? i have 2 one sohc one dohc both modded and i really dont think they are that great of an engine until you get super serious with the build. and doing anything with the timing sux unless you do all the work to setup coil packs (which sucks to convert)

because the Ka motor has quite a bit of torque..
and it loves forced induction
parts are super cheap
you can pick one up most often for under 200 bucks
usually less


I guess reasonably cheap
reliable power is always in demand
