Just Wondering (26B swap)

Sorry if this is a double post, I searched and read this entire forum.

With that said, on to my question. I'm simply wondering (cost aside-like I'd have the money to do it anyways, lol) is it possible to put the 787B (26b 4-rotor) motor into an FC? I have an '88 GXL and was thinking that since it looks like the largest of all three of the generations of RX-7's, that a 26B would fit. I read all about 20B conversions, but it would be so awesome if I could throw in a 26B. If anyone knows, please post. Also, if I'm wrong about the 2nd Gen being the largest model (engine compartment wise, as well) then let me know that too, thnx.

*edit* one other thing. Would the power gains from a turbo 26B be real significant over that from a 20BT? If power gain isn't that much, I can go ahead and put back for a 20B swap (which will probly be the case anyways).

I have some 4-rotor links in the 20B FAQ and Links page:

You can get custom shafts for a reasonable (relatively speaking) price through Australia and NZ.

A professional 20B conversion is about $35,000, and that's with a rebuilt engine.
