Exclamation Final drive ratio options?

Hi Guys,
This has been a headache for all those who have gone 6 speed.
What is the highest final drive lowest ratio we can achieve with the stock fd diff?
From what i've read 3.9 from the autos. What if we want ratios at 3, 3.2, etc
I understand that many opt for the Ford 8.8 but hasn't anyone figured out another way? Another option?
Ford 8.8 is ideal for those living in the states and have access to the diffs and heavily priced swap kits, but for the rest it's worse once you add shipping to it.
Isn't there a solution for this? What are the lads in NZ, Aus, Japs, etc doing to theirs?
