why destroy the balance of the rx7 with an sr just for reliability? rotaries have way more potential if you know how to mod it and care for it. just makes me frown. with great power comes with great responsiblity

Well, other than the reliability, more than none, do it for the numbers. Yes, the balance will be disrupted (no more 50.2/49.8) But you make the trade and sacrifice for power.
I mean hell, look at it like this: The MX5 Miata has a perfect 50/50 and people HAPPILY blow that number up dropping in everything from our own beloved 13B to 302s...
Al in the name of power.

Atleast in the "other engine conversions" section.
You know how i feel about 50/50 weight? I dont even know or care. I just drive and do what i wish to my car.
The "balance" isn't going to be something you're going to be thinking of after your swap is completed.
Weight between the ls1 and 13b is marginal.
The ls1 is a v8 and the sr20 is an I4....both of which are ALL ALUMINUM so the weight is going to be marginal.
If you dont like engine swapping that doesn't involve spinning triangles, with all due respect, you are in the WRONG PLACE.
