engine swap question

Ive never done an engine swap and I don't know anything about them. I'm also never planning on doing one :P. But, im just sitting here thinkin of stupid **** and I was wonderin if it would be possible to swap an rx8 engine into an 2nd gen rx7? Be gentle :P

if you can put a chevy 350 in a rx7 do you think you can get another rotory engine in there? i mean anything is possible with enough time and money

time, money, and patientence. I have a 1st gen with a 351C. Done by myself with less than $1300 from start to finish including the price of the 7. All my other 2nd gens are bone stock though and I think I have more in them alone.
