Dyno'd the 1JZ RX7....

I finally made it to the dyno today for some tuning and a few pulls. I am running a stock 1JZ with a GT35R, 550cc's, and dual pumps. The car is very fun to drive and I am now ready to add some race gas and turn up the boost.

Thanks to Mark Remick at Fastech Motorsports http://www.fastechimportperformance.com/fastechhome.htm He is top notch!

I ended up with 413hp and 395tq holding a pretty solid 11.0 AFR's. This was on pump gas and ~20lbs.

Here is a crappy cell phone vid...

I am running a stock ECU with an AFC NEO. It tuned fairly easily. That is the main reason that I stuck with 550cc injectors. I have heard horror stories when other people went with bigger injectors on the stock ECU.

My guess is some cams, port work, and a standalone and this car would be more like 500+

I doubt that all of that 20psi is making it into the chamber.
