Question 1JZ swap FD driveshaft question

Hi all. I have the tech2 swap kit on my car. Everything is pretty good except the driveshaft. I have an automatic differential and there not much free play between the differential and the driveshaft. I have about 3/8 of and inch free play. I am worried if the small amount of free play can hurt the diff or tranny when launching. I have searched but I have only found info on solid axles where there should be a minimum of 3/4 inch of free play.
Should I get the driveshaft shorten a little bit more?
thanks
