Update!!!!!

Currently making the transition from carb to FI again....I need to test certain points before I can make the move to FI (too much to explain now). I will hopefully write out my process soon, but for now here is an adapter for the lower intake mani (turbo) just to see how things will work...

Looks interesting. Do you check the the AFR's somehow? Looks like it's quite some work to tune the carb.

I don't intend on using this set up at all. I'm just going to progressively add the megasquirt system to this set up, I.E. I had tried going megasquirt all at once and I could not diagnose my problems. So this time I'll know that I have a working AFR, enough to Idle, and what I'll be testing on the MS is that my ignition and CAS are functioning. Then I'll add the injectors in and run full F.I. I know It sound dumb but I went to alot of trouble back n forth with different strange problems and constraints....

If you only knew how much fun and hair pulling times I've gone through. I honestly think that my mind needed to figure out a way to hear that turbo spool. This get's me so motivated to finish this project!!!!

During the '60s, you could only do a few things to a Beetle to hod rod it: (1) get a Judson Supercharger, (2) get an Okrasa motor, or (3) put a 356 motor in it. It's very tight trying to put a 356 motor into a VW Beetle and I can only imagine how hard it would have been to get the rotary in there! great work..

The fact that you can place it in the rear is pretty amazing! Great job!
