12A SP in a 2800 lb car?

actually it's a broncoII

It is currently a 4x4, which I dont use and would like to swap out to 2wd for weight savings and reliability. The swap seems easy enough, nothing that a weekend and illiusions of granduer cant handle.

According to my weight research, I would be down to a 2800 lb abomination if it sported a 12a in it. It has a 3.49 rear end and puny 215 75R15 tires.

It is already a carbed vehicle. I am concerned about putting 20 year old fc electronics in it. This has to be cheap. I want the smoothness of the rotary and the WTF factor also.

of course I could put a turbo 13b in it and call it a BII, get it !!!
