PERTANO, as i've always said, that is one the cleanest old school imports, much less Celica, that I've ever seen. Hopeful, who ever you sold it to is doing it justice. I know your RX4 will look just as good if not better.

Hey did anyone ever hear of the rx2 rx3 or rx4 going turbo before the j-spec rx7 went turbo in japan, the reason why I ask is because this old ladies husband who passed away about 10 yrs plus ago showed me blue prints to one of the old school rotaries going turbo. That **** was sick as hell. I can't give her name and info due to the confidential information. Im also trying to buy her husbands first gen rx-7 that is mint brand new condition all original. she's my grand mothers best friend almost like family.

Well after looking and looking, I found this in Japan. I bought it back in April of this year.. Finally was able to get a booking with the Shipping Co. I use.. Car should be here on the 20th of October... Here is a teaser pic for you guys.. Guess what it is..should not be very hard....

 

I am not sure. I was at a show once and some guy got all excited and told me they were TOMCATS. I'm not sure if that was the style or MFG. Either way I've never seen them before or since. I wish I had kept them to be honest, but they went with the car so they had to go. The car is being well taken car of now, so that's all that really matters.

My old RX-5 Cosmo... Geting it back soon and maybe dumping a naturally aspirated 20B in it...

 

DAMN!!! It even has the super rare tea-cup (rotor) tail-lights. Let us know how everything works out. I think your smart for getting it shipped here. Probably getting a better car for a great price than what's available here.

Thanks, and yes it has teacups,which I do not care for.. I have a set of all most brand new Hexagons set aside for it... It is already in route to me as I type this..should be here in the next few days...I paid a fair amount of money for it...cant say it was cheap...More pics to come soon.....

well, its getting close, all glass RX3, blown bridgeported 13B, jerico trans, full tube chassis.........comes out of paint shop saterday

 

Yeah, not a huge fan of the teacups either but you could almost pay for a paint job if you find the right buyer for those things!

Good choice on the Hexagons. Those are my favorite RX3 tails with the US SP lights as my 2nd choice.

 

Going by the interior, it looks like it is a slightly later model Savanna that would have had Hex's on it anyway??? Once you get it here you will know for sure by seeing if there are extra holes cut out of the taillight surround panel to fit the reverse lights on the Hex's... Do you know what month/year this model is?

Yes, its a series 2 1975..not sure which model or trim level yet...I will know soon...
