You can purchase those plates from the Mazda museum in Hiroshima Japan.

Thx mate.
Thats tru. Most Cosmos are white but I ve seen 1 green & 2 brown. I bought mine back in 1985 in silver, we sanded the whole car but didnt find any white underneath, so I persume that it was always silver. Right now the car has a 12A with racing beat header & stainless exhaust (looks as the original) but I am working on a 10A project...

The RX7 chassis is 1979 but one previous owner made it 1982 specs (plastic bunmpers, electr. ignition, 4 disc brakes). The motor is still 12A and the only upgrade is a Pacesetter header and a stainless exhaust. It performs & sounds great! I bought this car 2 years ago.

I tried to upload better photos thru photobucket but I get a message that extension is too long. Can someone help?

Its nice that your cosmo was slightly modified from stock when you got it so you dont have to feel bad making small changes. Great cars!

I feel so bad for my RX-3's collecting dust for the past 2+ years. Cant enjoy them anymore due to to busy work schedule and high gas prices. Something good look at while drinking my brewsky and for "show and tell" to my guests. Maybe I should just built a display cases and preserve them to my grandchildren but they may just laugh and say WTF are these shiet.

Cheer up wacky dont let the dust collection get to you, look at it this way, if you were enjoying your gems on the road you would start accumulating a dent collection.
I know your dilemma well. The solution is to change your priorities around, allocate the time and money to enjoy at least one car, remember....old skoolers last a lifetime, your not dead yet.

WHAT HIGH GAS PRICE? How many time do you drive to Vegas a month and to pechanga? High gas price never stop you from driving, I think your all gas if you ask me. And by the way if you ever need a display case let me know I turned into a cabinet maker

He just doesn't realize that he's the side show. When he drops his pants all the ladies laugh.

Thanks, If it wasnt for cars like Toy12a and RxGone, I never would have started a project like this. You guys in AU and NZ are crazy with the old school cars. I wish we had that many old school cars here
