windshield trim clips

Hey guys,

I'm wondering where I can get the clips that hold the trim around the windshield and the back glass for my RX2?

Thanks

Don't know for sure, but this place may be your best bet.

http://www.auveco.com/

I've had good luck with them on strange things.

I used the mazda RX-7 81-83 clips. You can order them from Blackdragon.com Have not had a problem with them. I order some from Australia but the cost was ridiculous

Most auto body/paint stores will have them. Get the short ones; for chevy iirc. I just got a box of about 30 for less than $20.

the mid 70's holden / chev one also works .. it is not a push down lock clip like the mazda/ ford one
it clamps the chrome over a larger area and will hold on to the front screen better at 130 mph

the chev/ holden one i have in mind is metal and fits over the rivet head and pushes sideways , and as it moves, the rivet slides up a keyway and pulls the clamp tighter

they dont break like the mazda plastic ones,, and don't corrode like the plastic coated ones do where you break the plastic dip , and they hold on much tighter

I did not know about the Ford retrofit, but I got mine from Phil's rotary on eBay. He does not have his parts posted at this time, but you can call or email them to order.

Scott's Rubber products may have them too. They are in Australia.
Good luck.
